D&G Sciences -- Innovation Productivity Corporation |
Mission Statement: D&G Sciences -- Innovation Productivity Corporation aims to thrive and contribute to the general welfare by developing, and applying means and tools to accelerate the process of innovation. History & Credentials: D&G Sciences was incorporated in 1991, and made its initial mark as a cost intelligence company -- estimating cost and schedule for high uncertainty technology projects. Such are: petrochemical product development, environmental cleanups, large scale tunneling projects, pharmaceutical R&D, advanced weapon programs, polymer development, physical and cyber security enterprise, computer software projects, and novel architectural design. We also developed a methodology to gather intelligence on the basis of comparing estimated to actual cost figures. Dr. Gideon Samid, founder and president, has positioned himself at the forefront of the field, developing novel methodologies, mathematical tools, software, procedures and protocols, all aimed at the challenge of establishing a high-credibility estimate of the cost-to-complete and time-to-finish, of large, expensive undertakings where construction risk and implementation uncertainty are dominant, even pervasive. It was only a matter of time before D&G Sciences turned towards the activity which by its very nature poses the highest challenge to uncertainty appraisers: research and development (R&D). Since 1995 D&G Sciences has been focusing on estimating the effort to achieve an R&D objective. This experience evolved into a broader range of services regarding the realm of modern innovation. The work was rewarding and very gradually led to new insight regarding the innovation process. The puzzle of elemental discoveries was painstakingly pieced together, and has recently emerged in the form of the Unified Theory of Innovation (UTI).
UTI assembles the various principles of innovation activity into a
logical top-down structure where everything flows from its fundamental
principle. This principle may guide the innovation practitioners
(inventors, researchers, developers), their partners, peers, and
colleagues, as well as their operational managers, and budgetary
authorities. It even helps the beneficiary of the outcome of the
innovation process. D&G Sciences helps all these innovation
stakeholders through its publications, training, services and products.
