BiPSA * Creativity Extraction

Creativity is to imagine something off course, away from the expected trajectory of discovery and insight. Indeed truly creative ideas appear strange, esoteric even nonsensical to the minds that be, trained on the established course of progress and development. To be sure not every strange, esoteric, and nonsensical idea turns out a brilliant new discovery, only a small fraction does. BiPSA * CreativityExtraction was designed to (i) prompt creative people to suggest their 'crazy idea' -- without fear of derision and ridicule, and to (ii) allow the community of interested individuals to rate and rank those 'crazies' so that the crazy idea that has enough merit in it to become the big thing of tomorrow will be so identified, and early.

BiPSA * Creativity Extraction is based on (a) a WEB platform inviting individuals to propose their 'crazy ideas,' and on (b) a BiPSA protocol in which individuals are invited to state their opinion on the comparative likelihood of several esoteric ideas. So suppose a given innovation challenge has attracted five esoteric ideas all of which are judged with negligible chances for applicability. Interested parties are asked to make a statement over any two of those esoteric ideas. The statement regards their comparable likelihood for success. Now we know that all those ideas are judged to have a very poor likelihood for success, but the question is which among them ranks highest. In other words: suppose you are told that one of the 'crazy ideas' turned out the practical solution to the problem. Now pick any two esoteric solutions and state which of them is more likely to be the unexpected working solution.

The various binary rankings are then BiPSA processed to yield a ranking summary. Over time one formerly crazy idea secures a clear lead over the rest. That's the idea to watch!
